I am wondering if anyone has figured out the system of how the weapons level. I am using John and trying to boost the hand-to-hand, but i am not sure if it is based on killing something with hand-to-hand, or just hitting it. I like using the uppercut, but it might be faster to just punch stuff a lot instead.

Speak to Dez, and kill some more zombies as she throws explosives. Speak to her again and search for the Quartermaster’s records by following the marker. You’ll then have to go to the main CDC

Sell Extra Weapons. You can collect multiple weapons at once from Zombie loot. Sell these weapons to the trader and earn money faster than other available methods. Follow the mentioned instructions to gather and sell weapons in return for some hefty sum of cash: Gather some zombies at an area, or go to an already zombies-infested location.

Completing Quests. From the very beginning of the game and up to the level cap, completing quests is the fastest way to level up in Tarisland. It becomes obvious after you finish the prologue and pick up your first quest. If compared to all other leveling methods, this one guarantees you the best value in terms of spent time/XP earned.
