Sometimes I get summoned and the host will just sit there afk for 10-15 minutes after summoning me. On the other side sometimes I summon people and they sit there afk for 10-15 minutes preventing me from using bonfires and accessing certain areas.

Yes you press them at the same time, think of it like you're flicking up on the analog and pressing R1 simultaneously Any delay between the two and you will just do a normal R1. Similarly, if you start running forward and immediately do R1 at the same time you will accidentally do a kick.

Kick your foe away, or break through a shield defense, and hit an unprepared enemy. 1. Stand in front of the selected enemy. 2. Press the button responsible for moving forward and right-hand weapon action at the same time. Holding both buttons for a couple of seconds should be enough to launch the kick.
But certain weapons won't allow you to kick. I'd suggest using a dagger or maybe being unarmed in you're right hand as one of your weapon slots that way you could switch and kick DreadnaughtXER0 (Topic Creator) 12 years ago #4
