Like others have said - unless you really want the latest and the greatest, Fenix 6 is a very viable choice. A good friend of mine (who'd hugely influenced my own purchase decision) still wears his Fenix 5 Pro, and is pretty satisfied with it - half-jokingly, tells me he won't upgrade until Fenix will sport a holographic display :-).

alfuh • 2 yr. ago. Maybe unpopular opinion, but I don't think the base Fenix 6 is ever worth it. Some of the biggest differentiating features of the (Pro / Sapphire) Fenix 6 models are the music storage and maps. The base Fenix 6 will definitely have more multi-sport tracking available, but one of the Forerunner models (245 / 745) would eNFf.
